This is what we woke up to on Friday, and it continued all day long! We were very glad that it was a grading day, and thus no school! All the practices and activities were cancelled again. Alan's work let them go home at 2pm again, so he stopped by the grocery store on the way home in case we were snowed in all weekend.
The kids had fun playing in the snow.
The baby's boots kept falling off though (too big), so his feet were wet and cold (you can see he is in socks in this picture).
The snow was light and powdery.
At one point Alan measured about 6 inches, but that was mid afternoon. I don't know what the actual amount of snowfall ended up being.
Since it was a dry snow, the kids couldn't make snowballs or snowmen, but they still had fun playing in it.
I love how everything looks with snow on it!
The kids enjoyed eating the snow too! We had a fun relaxing day together.
